Grinding Equipment for Mineral Processing and Industrial Materials

Grinding equipment is discussed after the crushing stage, once the feed size, target fineness, capacity and downstream process are clearer.

Grinding and related process equipment

Start from the grinding duty, not only the machine name.

For ore projects, grinding usually sits between crushing and classification or beneficiation. The same material may need a different mill discussion when the feed size, fineness target or process route changes.

Feed entering the mill

Tell us the particle size after crushing, not only the raw stone size. This decides whether the grinding discussion starts from a ball mill alone or from the full crushing-to-grinding route.

Required grinding result

Target fineness, wet or dry process, and what comes next in the plant all affect mill direction. A rough fineness range is already helpful for the first discussion.

Capacity and working basis

Send tons per hour or tons per day together with planned working hours. Capacity without working basis often leads to the wrong size discussion.

Before quotation

What we normally confirm for grinding equipment.

Grinding equipment is not quoted only from “I need a mill”. We first confirm the material, crushed feed, fineness target, capacity and whether classification or flotation will follow.
